Remote Viewing with Major Ed Dames

If you've spent any time listening to Coast to Coast AM, then you're familiar with frequent guest Major Ed Dames. Major Dames is a remote viewing expert who actually teaches the technique. If you aren't familiar with it, remote viewing uses extra-sensory perception or ESP to gather information about distant or unseen objects. The target object is usually something hidden from ordinary view, in other words you can't access it by the ordinary senses light sight, sound, touch, or smell. You won't be surprised to learn that several intelligence agencies and the military have had an interest in remote viewing.

According to several sources, remote viewing was funded by the United States government for many years, both in the Defense Department and the CIA. A Colonel William Johnson of the U.S. Army was brought in to evaluate and the program in the 1990's and he came away a believer. However, as far as I have been able to ascertain the program has been terminated.

Remote viewing came to light when physicist Hal Puthoff investigated the phenomenon in the early 1970s, leading the CIA to become interested.
